What a Fanvue PPV bot does
Pay-per-view messages are where most Fanvue income is made. A Fanvue PPV bot sends those paid messages for you. The simplest bots send the same locked message to everyone on a schedule. FanBotify works differently: it sells inside a real conversation, chooses the next offer from what the fan already bought, and sets the price for that fan within the bounds you choose. It is closer to what a good human chatter does than to a mass-message tool.
Your catalog: tiers and bundles
Everything the bot sells comes from your own Fanvue Vault. You organise it in tiers, from the softest content to the most explicit you sell. Each tier holds 4 to 60 photos or videos, and the bot sells them as bundles of 4 to 6 items. Bundles feel like a moment rather than a single picture, and they give the fan a reason to come back for the next one.
| Catalog mode | What the bot can sell |
|---|---|
| Full catalog | Up to 6 tiers |
| Tease | Tiers 1 to 3 |
| Conversation only | No explicit content: the bot chats without selling explicit sets |
You do not have to build the bundles by hand. "Sort with AI" looks at your Vault, builds the bundles and suggests prices. You review and change anything before launch.
Storyline or random
A shoot can be sold as a storyline: the same shoot, tier after tier, so each purchase feels like the next chapter of the same scene. Or bundles can be offered at random across your Vault. Storyline usually suits creators whose shoots have a clear progression; random suits a Vault of many short sets. You choose per catalog.
Per-fan pricing
A first-time buyer and your biggest spender should not see the same price. FanBotify prices each offer for the fan who receives it, following how engaged he is, inside bounds you set around each base price:
| Bound | Range you can choose |
|---|---|
| Lowest price | 0.8x to 1.0x the base price |
| Highest price | 1.2x to 2.0x the base price |
The bot never goes outside those bounds. For how to set base prices, read Fanvue PPV pricing.
When the bot offers PPV
Timing matters as much as price. FanBotify reads the conversation and the fan's profile before offering anything: what he likes, what he already owns, whether he is a new fan, a subscriber, a past buyer or an expired fan. It does not offer a bundle he already bought; it offers the next one. It does not open with a price; it builds rapport first. And it never sells to a fan who shows signs of distress.
Follow-up on unopened PPV
On the Creator plan and up, if a paid message stays unopened, the bot sends one follow-up, and only one. Many unopened messages are simply unseen, and a single reminder catches those without making the fan feel chased. AI Prospection can also propose a personal DM to fans with an unopened paid message, sent in one click. More in Fanvue PPV automation.
Custom requests
Customs are often the highest-value sales. When a fan asks for one, the bot quotes from your own price list and alerts you. You approve each custom, and nothing is promised before you confirm the payment. See Fanvue custom requests.
Large payments and hand-offs
You set an amount above which a single payment goes to you. Refunds, chargebacks or disputes, upset fans and requests marked "needs approval" are handed off too, with an alert on Telegram or email and in the dashboard.
PPV bot vs mass PPV
| Mass PPV | FanBotify PPV bot | |
|---|---|---|
| Who gets the offer | Everyone on the list | The fan in the conversation, when the moment is right |
| What is offered | The same set for all | The next bundle in your tiers, not one he owns |
| Price | One price for all | Set for each fan, inside your bounds |
| Follow-up | Often another blast | One follow-up on unopened paid messages |
| Safety | None per fan | No sales to fans in distress; stops on possible minors |
Broadcasts still have a place for announcements; see Fanvue mass messages.
Setting up your Fanvue PPV bot
- Choose a catalog mode: Full catalog, Tease or Conversation only.
- Build your tiers: pick content from your Vault, or let "Sort with AI" build the bundles.
- Choose storyline or random for how shoots are sold.
- Set a base price per tier, then the lowest and highest bounds for per-fan pricing.
- Write your custom price list and the payment amount above which a sale comes to you.
- Pick automatic or drafts, and launch. Nothing goes live before you do.
Pricing examples
Say a tier has a base price of $20 and you set the bounds at 0.9x and 1.5x. A fan who is just warming up might see the offer near $18; an engaged fan who buys regularly might see it closer to $30. Nobody sees a price outside $18 to $30, and you can change the base price or the bounds at any time. For base prices by tier, read Fanvue PPV pricing.
Tips for a catalog that sells
- Make tier 1 easy. The first purchase is the hardest; a soft, well-priced first bundle opens the door.
- Make each tier a step. A fan should feel he is getting something new at each level, not the same set again.
- Keep shoots together if you sell as a storyline, so every chapter belongs to the same scene.
- Refresh regularly. Fans who bought everything need new bundles to come back for.
- Review prices with data. A tier offered often and rarely bought is usually priced too high or placed too early.
Know what the bot sold
The dashboard shows what the bot itself sold: paid messages sent by the bot and confirmed by Fanvue. Your own PPV and tips are counted separately, and the commission never applies to them. Watch offers sent, offers bought and revenue per tier to see which tiers carry your sales.
Safety on every offer
Every message, offers included, is checked before it is sent: your limits, the platform rules, no off-platform payments, no meetups. If a fan may be a minor, the bot stops and alerts you.
Plans
Starter $19 a month, Creator $49 a month with the first month free (with the follow-up automations), Agency $129 a month for 3 creators. Every plan adds 25% of the paid messages the AI sells, never on tips, subscriptions or your own sales. If the agent sells less than the plan costs in your first 30 paid days, the plan is refunded (conditions in the terms). See the plans and the Fanvue bot page.
