CRM or AI chatter: what are you looking for?
"Fanvue CRM" covers two kinds of tools. A classic CRM organises your fans: who they are, what they bought, how much they spent, so you or your chatters know who to message and what to offer. An AI chatter goes a step further and does the talking itself, using that same fan data to reply, price and follow up. Some tools sit in between: an AI that drafts replies for a human to approve.
Which one you need depends on who writes your messages today. If a team of human chatters does the talking, a faster inbox may be all you need. If you want fans answered at every hour without a chatter on shift, look at the tools that reply on their own.

FanBotify: a CRM that chats and sells
FanBotify keeps a profile of every fan (memory of the conversation, purchases, status from new fan to expired, biggest spenders) and its AI chatter uses that profile on every message. It replies 24/7 in your voice, sells PPV bundles from your Vault in tiers, prices each offer for the fan inside bounds you set, and hands chats to you or your team when a rule says so. It works on Fanvue only, through the official Fanvue Developer API. Pricing is a monthly plan plus 25% of the paid messages the AI sells, never on tips, subscriptions or your own sales. More on the Fanvue CRM page.
Choose it if you want the CRM and the chatter in one tool, with a price set for each fan and strict safety stops.
Chatvue
According to its official site, Chatvue offers a free account with pay-as-you-go AI credits, can reply on its own or only suggest replies, mentions per-fan pricing and memory, and runs as web and macOS apps. For agencies it advertises "50 creators. One inbox."
Choose it if you prefer paying per AI use, or you want a desktop app. Compare in detail in FanBotify vs Chatvue or the Chatvue alternative page.
Fanvy
Its official site describes AI drafts that you approve rather than an autopilot, Telegram alerts with reply buttons, and team roles for agencies, on monthly plans with a 7-day trial.
Choose it if you want AI drafts that a human approves before anything is sent. Details in FanBotify vs Fanvy.
Chatterdeck
Chatterdeck is an inbox for human chatters, according to its site: it does not reply on its own. It has a free tier and agency account switching.
Choose it if your human chatters do the talking and need a faster inbox. Details in FanBotify vs Chatterdeck.
FanWake
FanWake's site lists a free tier and monthly plans with no commission on sales, an AI that replies on its own or with manual or threshold approval, memory, Smart Escalation for sensitive requests and Telegram moderation. It is on Fanvue, with other platforms on its roadmap.
Choose it if you want a flat monthly price with no commission, or to approve replies from Telegram. See the FanWake alternative page.
What to look for in a Fanvue CRM
- Who writes the messages: you, your chatters, or the AI. This decides most of the rest.
- Fan memory: does the tool remember what each fan said and bought, and use it?
- Pricing per fan: can offers be priced for the fan, inside limits you control?
- Safety: are messages checked before sending, and does the tool stop with minors and fans in distress?
- How you pay: flat monthly price, credits per AI use, or a share of what the AI sells. Each suits a different volume and risk appetite.
- How it connects: official Fanvue sign-in, so you never share your password.
- Agencies: separate setups per model, team access and hand-offs.
Which tool fits which setup
| Your setup | What usually fits |
|---|---|
| Solo creator, answering fans yourself | An AI chatter that covers the hours you are offline |
| Solo creator with a part-time chatter | An AI chatter with hand-offs to the chatter, or a draft tool |
| Agency with a full chatter team | An inbox tool, or an AI chatter in drafts mode to start |
| Agency that wants fewer chatter hours | An AI chatter with isolated bots per model and team seats |
None of these is fixed. Many creators start with a human-first tool and move to an AI chatter once they trust it, or keep both: the AI for volume, humans for exceptions. See AI vs human chatters for the trade-offs.
Safety is part of the CRM
A tool that talks to fans in your name needs rules. FanBotify checks every message before it is sent: no off-platform payments, no meetups, no custom promised before you confirm payment, your hard limits respected. It never sells to fans in distress, and it stops and alerts you if a fan may be a minor. Whatever tool you choose, ask how it handles these cases. More in safe AI chatting on Fanvue.
A simple way to decide
- If human chatters will keep doing all the talking, start with an inbox or a draft tool.
- If you want coverage at every hour, shortlist tools that reply on their own.
- Among those, compare per-fan pricing, safety and how you pay.
- Test on your own account before committing. FanBotify's Creator plan has its first month free.
